Question: Are there any legitimate work-from-home internet jobs that I will be able to earn a living from?

I’m a young woman supporting other people and a rented house. I need to know if there are any online jobs that i can earn a living from…I am a gifted writer, and was hoping there was something along the lines of freelance writing or something. I hope someone can help me with this as I am falling deeper into financial trouble and cannot find employment in my small hometown. I need something legit – I’m not looking for a get rich quick scheme, i am prepared to work for it. I have spent days searching the net looking for something and have found nothing. PLEASE HELP

It seems like you have a lot on your shoulders right now, and I really feel for you! What I do might not be a perfect fit for you, but it’s working well for me so I feel good about recommending it.

I’m a consultant for the Pampered Chef company. In other words, I own a home based business selling cooking tools and I receive a commission from my sales. This company has been in existance for more than 27 years and has an excellent reputation for both ethical business practices and high quality products. In my experience it has been both profitable and really fun. (Let’s face it, my job is going to parties!)

Starting up with the Pampered Chef is not free, but it is very reasonable. The new consultant’s kit costs $155 and contains products to use in demonstrations, training materials, and the business supplies that you will need to get started.

I do not think that it can pay your rent right away – it takes some time to build up a customer base and fill up your scheudle with shows. Answer: You seem to already know all the business details, so I think you are looking for some confirmation that the system works. I for one can tell you that my wife and I have made a very successful business using the Online Business System. We have been associated with them for some time now, and honestly cannot see us changing. I also personally know many others that have as well. On the flip side, I have seen people that have not succeeded due to various reasons. Contrary to what some people say, this is a legitimate MLM style business and is affiliated with a very strong industry leader. If you stick to the system and do not try to change it (other that a bit to suit your personality), learn from those that have been successful, and maintain a positive attitude, then you should have no problem in enjoying the same success that we have seen.

You will read, as I have, many reports from people that this is a scam, fraud, or other negative comments. From my personal experience, I find that these people are from three categories. First are the ones that say all MLM’s are scams, no matter what. Then there are those that use a negative type of “smear campaign” to try and promote their own business opportunity. Finally there are those that have failed at an opportunity (usually from things they did, or did not do) and need to place the blame on anyone but themselves.
