Question: How do you pay income taxes on money/income received from an internet based job?

In other words, if you make money with some online / home business type thing, how do you pay your taxes on that income ? is there a way to caluculate how much to give the IRS so they dont bill your for it later or what? because i kno at ma n pa places with a few employees they have a chart where they can do it by hand so i was wondeingr is it the same thing?

Answer: You would have to file self employed. The IRS has basic tax tables to use were you can figure up what tax bracket you will be in by how much you make. You can pay the IRS through out the year to avoid a big tax burden at tax time.

Well, thanks fot eh heads up, everyone.. about Work At Home Scams.. I’ve seen plenty. But what I mean.. I am a computer and telecommunications specialist, and Im also a single mom with kids. I would like a legitimate job, working from home ( telecommunicating) in Customer Service, Billing, or Technical Support – something of the sort.

Answer: Yahoo frowns on putting links in answers… it can be considered spamming, so shoot me an email and I can provide you some sources to look into from an unbiased, legit source…. oh, and remind me of what field you are looking at … ie… technical, networking, dsl, etc… will save us having to go back and forth .
