Question: How do I apply for UK citizenship with my job experience?
I have 2 years experience in copywriting (and continuing), and I’m wondering if there are actually online-based businesses in the UK who can sponsor me and possibly give me the opportunity to work and apply for citizenship in the UK.
I have a degree in Visual Arts – I graduated in Australia. As you can see my degree is totally different from my work experience, I don’t know if this will affect my employment.
Is there a site where I can find employers who’d perhaps employ/sponsor me for my skills? I researched a bit online and found the UK is mainly looking for healthcare workers, etc… I don’t know if it would be best if I apply for an IT job.
I’m from the Philippines..I’m confused where to start, can anyone here help me out? Thanks in advance!
Answer: You can only apply for UK Citizenship after living here for 3 years. You will need to apply for a visa to live here first, then when that is completed and you have a permanent residents permit, you can apply for UK citizenship.
