Question: Help! I really want to start a home based online business. Are there any that are legit and lucrative?

Preferably the businesses that don’t cost any money to start.

Answer: There are a few out there you really have to know exactly what you are getting into. Some of the companies I found to be legit but people say they are not because they did not make any money doing it; but that does not make the company a scam. There are a couple of affiliate programs that you can get into, that only pay you on the sale you generate, but that is how business goes. I have a couple that I am involved in that do not cost to join and I have made a little money off of them, but that is because I am already working two jobs, so I need to find more time to build them, but I am considering trying to start something up before the year if you interested in any of them just send me an e-mail and I will send you back one e-mail and that goes for anybody reading this. Hope I answered your question though.

How to Start a Home-Based Business

Question: How do you stop an online business from calling my home phone?

I admit that i was foolish in giving my phone number to a site without reading. But now they won’t stop calling. I just had an extreamly rude, persistant women call me about starting my own bussiness through google at 8 am. If anyone can think of anything, let me know
btw, changing my number isn’t an option.

Answer: Do you know the state state in which the company is located? That would help if you wanted to do something like:
Try to get the person’s name and the company’s name, then tell them that you are recording the call, that you are making an official request that they stop calling you immediately, and if anyone from that company ever calls you again, you will file a complaint with their state’s attorney general’s office and the telephone company.

You can legally record your telephone calls if you tell the other person that it is being recorded.

You can easily report them to the phone company (write down the time and date when that company calls), and you can also really report this harassment to the state attorney general – most of those offices have some kind of consumer complaint division.

Question: Is there a chat room of people looking for a legitimate home-based business?

It took me a long time to find a legitimate home-based business with low start-up costs. I finally found one and I would like to be able to share it with serious people.

Answer: On Yahoo! There’s are message boards and there’s one specific for people that have home based businesses. Use your search engine and type in “Message Boards” and then look on the list til you find “home based business” and go from there. But like everywhere else….be careful not to “advertise” because it’s a violation. This forum is basically for sharing your business with other people. Also Google search for “Chat forums with people in home based business”. I thought I had saved mine but I can’t seem to find it for some reason (probably put it under another category!)
