Question: i want to start a cookie business from home any ideas?

Hi need some help anyone out there know on how to go about starting a cookie business from home and if so any ideas on how to do that i want to sell them from online Gourmet cookies etc anyone know anything about that??

Answer: The best routes to take are to research the process of starting a business as well as the industry you’re interested in.

I recommend checking out the SBA, Entrepreneur, The Start Up Journal & Nolo. All 4 are great informational resources for the new/small business owner. I posted links for you in the source box.

Associations may be a good avenue to explore. These organizations will address many of the thoughts, questions and concerns you’ll inevitably have as well as many you haven’t anticipated yet. See the source box for some relevant links.

Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can about the industry. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

* Starting an Online Business For Dummies, 4th Edition by Greg Holden
* How to Start and Maintain A Successful Online Business by Kelly Thornton
* The Complete E-Commerce Book: Design, Build, and Maintain a Successful Web-Based Business by Janice Reynolds

There are plenty of free informational resources out there. Check the source box for links to articles.

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

Home Business Solutions Scam

Question: Want to have another baby and work from home…help please!?

I currently work full-time and find it a struggle having one child – with travel times etc. I only see my son for an hour a day as I get home so late. We would like to have another but there is no way I could work full-time with two children. I’d like to work from home – being the ideal solution but typing in “working from home” on the internet brings up several scams and if not scams, then you have to pay for it.

I don’t want to start up my own business or anything like that. I just want to do what I do now but from home. I’m a qualified medical secretary. I am currently working as a general secretary. Surely it can’t be ‘that’ difficult to find secretarial work from home?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks, Emma.

Answer: My website (completely free) at http://www.real-work-at-home.co.uk brings together all the real jobs working from home that I can find. I add up to 20 per week.

Yesterday I added a work from home administrator job paying £20,000 – it’s in the members area.

I try to get a mix of proper jobs on there. I work from home doing a real job for a company and I started the site as I know others aren’t quite as good as me at sniffing out the legit work from home jobs

Good luck searching – and maybe my website will help you find a proper job working from home. I hope so.
