Question: looking for remote IT work or any websites to find remote IT work?
Experienced IT people can be utilized at very low hr rate for companies willing to outsource software development projects in java and c#. Any website where such ‘out sourcing’ / ‘work from home’ opportunities are posted would be great help.
Answer: You can also look at Craigslist, where many postings allow working from home.
Rentacoder is more secure (they hold the payment as in escrow, so you know you’ll be paid), however, I find it’s a real pain to work with the coders.
If you are looking to work from home, you may want to look at consulting firms, and job placement agencies. Companies like infosys or the thousands of head-hunters scanvaging Monster.com / CareerBuilder.com / HotJobs.com and similar websites.
Post your resume, listing all technical skills on the job sites, and these firms have automatic programs that will find you and match you to jobs.
You’re definately better getting a long-term gig than having to deal with dozens of random, rather anonymous clients.

Work At Home Employment For Moms

Question: What should I put on resume for 3 yrs. of non-employment? I was a stay-at-home mom, how to word it?
I stayed at home for 3 yrs. taking care of my children (no volunteer work). Now, I need to go to work but I have no idea as to what tp put down for that gap.
Answer: Stay at home mom………don’t leave a gap……..
