Question: NYU Stern Question!!!?
how hard is it really to get into Stern… I saw their website and they are a very hard school to get into. On the contrary I see so many people online who tells me that NYU Stern isn’t all that hard. So is this true or not???
Also do you think I can make it???
GPA: (Unweighted) 3.69
SAT: 1510/1600
Also I am the founder of this small business in Canada.
Leader of many clubs and team
Have Part Time job as an instructor for teaching math
Volunteer more than 350 hours at business firms.
Won two major contest

The rest is not that important. and yes I do plan on writing a killer essay and be able to provide great reference letters.
Answer: The only problem might be the GPA. Contrary to what many people say, Stern is very selective (we know several kids who got into other, almost comparable programs, but weren’t accepted at Stern).
My daughter, who is at NYU, has several friends at Stern and right now, they are all depressed over the state of the economy and their futures. Hopefully things will improve by the time they graduate.
