Question: Is there $$$$ help for women who want to purchase a commerical property to begin a home based business?

There is a property that I was interested in purchasing to begin a home based daycare in. I own a home, should I take out a second mortgage or are there a programs out there that helps women like myself begin their own business? I plan to begin small (as required by law) until I can get licensed. This property is just to good to pass up and I’m concerned that if I don’t jump on this opportunity I’ll loose it.

There are many resources available for women who want to start their own business. One resource I found helpful when starting my business was the SBA (Small Business Administration). They offer links to resources for women in business and women starting businesses. Another resource is the National Women’s Business Council.
